Who says being gay isn't in Indian culture??!!

"In Indian culture... men socialise with men, and women with women"

That's from an indecency guide to toursists in India via a bbc story. (read the rest here)
The beeb has this habit of covering these random obscure tidbits from India - and they are sooooo funny!!

"Married couples in Asia do not hug, hold hands or kiss in public. Even embracing at airports and train stations is considered out of the question"

  • Funny stuff...

On an unrelated note, someone in England searched "aneesh" and "babla" in google and thus found and visited my blog! I'm serious - that's all he/she/it entered. aneesh babla.

    How weird is that??

    Oh, and how's your foot???

  • Lot - I think it's a sign - aneesh + babla = swedey pie...although the idea of aneesh with bablas is disturbing. Foot's much better thanks, I think the pain was accentuated by the shitty Tuesday. Or it's the painkillers.

Jedi - hahaha- I know. I bet Pramod Navalkar or some of the moral police came up with that - I think it would make great 'india-on-a-roll' toilet paper
